Culture Vultures: Trip to the Museum of Natural History
By: Niki Skulikidis
On November 1st 2023, the culture vultures took a trip into the city to the Museum of Natural History. Ms. Kelly, who runs the club, organizes a few of these trips a year where the culture vultures are able to do fun activities. The club members learn about and are immersed into culture. After arriving in the city and getting off the subway, the culture vultures entered the Museum of Natural History. There were quite a few floors, all with different exhibits and artifacts. It was very enjoyable, just wandering through and exploring the museum. There was an exhibit on crystals, rocks and jewelry and a room with dinosaur skeletons and bones. There were rooms that told the history about different animals and an icky, yet interesting area about bugs. The trip was a success, as there were so many interesting things to see. Attending was an amazing opportunity to learn about history, see the city and have fun with friends!
