Over the past two months, the Key Club has been working hard to promote Breast Cancer Awareness. In September, the club won Dr. Finn’s “Git Up Challenge” and received a donation. We allocated this donation to the American Cancer Society. This month, we further promoted awareness. We decorated a bulletin board in the school’s main lobby with pink ribbons with facts about Breast Cancer. On the day of our homecoming game, we encouraged everyone to wear a touch of pink and distributed stickers in the main lobby as people walked into school. On Sunday, October 20th, about 40 members attended the Breast Cancer Walk at Jones Beach.
