A Night of Fashion and Fundraising

Hana Zhang, Editor

The Fashion Show, hosted by the Carle Place Key Club, was held on Friday, April 29th. It was a night of fun and offered a chance for students and teachers to strut the runway. It was the first Fashion Show back in person since 2019, and it was so successful (with a full house!), thanks to the over 100 students being involved, staff members, stores, and the community.

We fundraised over $12,400 towards the Christofer Comito 2013 Memorial Scholarship. Watch the informational video here.

In honor of Chris, the Key Club is launching an awareness program on Carbon Monoxide. Carbon Monoxide detectors were distributed to high school students after the CP Fire Department and Fire Marshall gave an informational presentation regarding the dangers of CO. In June, detectors will also be distributed to Cherry Lane students.
