Carle Place Homecoming Game 2023 Recap!

Friday October 13th was Carle Place’s 2023 homecoming game against Island Trees. The atmosphere was GREAT, almost everyone there supporting our varsity football team.

Before the game starts you can see the teams getting ready and warming up. The game starts with Island Trees with the ball. Trees make a pass and run forward but frogs quickly make a tackle. The rest of the quarter the ball goes back and forth between the teams. Carle Place starts well with the tackles. Number 27 and 30 making a great tackle with trees gaining a few yards. At 7 minutes 30 seconds into the quarter, trees fumble the ball. The frogs set up going for the first touchdown in the quarter. Frogs are at second down at 6 minutes 45 seconds and make a pass but get quickly tackled. The game is uneventful until 4 minutes 40 seconds when Trees get a pick and a touchdown. The score changes from 0-0 to 0-6, but Trees go for the 1 point conversion and convert it to make the score 0-7.

The rest of the game was touchdowns for Island Trees, until the 3rd quarter when frogs made a pass and scored a touchdown to make the final score 7-36. Even though the game ended sadly for Carle Place it was a fun atmosphere and it was nice to see everyone supporting our team.
