Outdoor Club’s Field Trip – Adventure Park

On Wednesday, November 13, 2021, the Carle Place Middle and High School went on a trip to Adventure Park for Outdoor Club. The club is run by Mrs. Claeson. On this trip, Mr.Thiem assisted Mrs. Claeson in chaperoning. There were about 50 kids who went to Adventure Park from 3:15 to 7:00. Adventure Park is a huge park full of ziplines and obstacle courses. We first had to watch a short video about safety and then we hit the trees. The courses were separated into 5 groups, yellow, green, blue, black, and double black. Yellow being the easiest and double black being the hardest. At around 6:30, students were able to take a quick break from the courses to eat pizza and sit by the fire. If you haven’t been, I really recommend going. It is very fun and a good way to socialize with friends and family. 🙂
