This year, the Carle Place Middle High School Spirit Week took place from Oct. 26- Nov. 6. Throughout the week, students and teachers had fun dressing up to certain themes. COVID-19 didn’t stop us from dressing up and showing our school spirit!
On Monday, students and staff wore camouflage or military attire. This theme was a big success because a lot of students were wearing camouflage. On Tuesday, October 27th, students wore colorful tie-dye outfits and accessories. This spirit day was extremely colorful and enlightening since the hallways were filled with multiple different colors of shirts, sweatshirts and even face coverings. This day was creative and filled with joy. The color pink was worn on Wednesday, October 28th. Students and staff wore pink to show their support and appreciation for people that suffer from Breast Cancer. It was amazing to see everyone wear pink and show their appreciation for people who have to (or have had to) battle Breast Cancer. When everyone returned to school on November 4th, Spirit Week resumed. On Wednesday, November 4th, we showed our Carle Place pride by wearing the school’s colors: green and white. A lot of different Carle Place sweatshirts and jerseys were worn. Thursday, everyone got to be comfy and wore their PJs to school. In the hallways, people wore onesies as well as plaid pants. Students went to school and relaxed in their PJs. On Friday, November 6th, students and teachers wore Halloween costumes to school. There were a lot of different colorful costumes in the hallways.
Spirit Week was a huge success. There were a lot of people who showed spirit and enjoyed dressing up this week. Check out our many photos from the 2020 Spirit Week in our photo scroll!
