A few months ago, I went to a restaurant in Flushing called 99 Favor Taste. It primarily focuses on serving hot pot which is a traditional Chinese dish. When one eats hot pot, you are provided with soup on an electric stove and dishes of your choice of raw meat, vegetables and others which you would put in the pot to cook. You have a variety of sauces such as soy sauce along with other flavor-enhancing condiments. At this particular restaurant, each person gets their pot of soup which ranges from tomato to kimchi soup base. My experience there was a great one even though it was late at night many people proceeded to dine there. But if you’re also interested, Korean barbecue is provided as well with an additional fee where you can once again order anything you want from the menu. I enjoyed it when I went with my family and if it is your birthday, you for eat free!
